Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen is issuing reminders for Alabama voters ahead of the November 3, 2026, general election.

“AlabamaVotes.gov remains the best resource for voters preparing to exercise their right to vote in the November 3 General Election,” Allen said. “Alabamians can verify their voter registration status, find their polling location, and review their county’s sample ballot ahead of Election Day. Voters can also view the ballot statements for the four proposed statewide constitutional amendments on the ballot so that they are fully prepared when heading to the polls.”

On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters are required to present a valid form of photo identification before voting at their polling place or by absentee ballot.

Election results will be posted on a door or other visible location at each polling place. Cumulative unofficial election results will be posted on the Alabama secretary of state’s website at AlabamaVotes.gov.

Allen extended his support and gratitude to Alabama’s local election officials for their hard work preparing for the November 3 general election.

“Alabama’s probate judges, circuit clerks, sheriffs, boards of registrars, and poll workers work diligently to ensure Alabama elections are conducted in a secure, transparent, and accountable way. As Alabama’s Chief Elections Official, I am grateful to all of Alabama’s local election officials and commend them for their hard work preparing for Election Day,” Allen said.
