Alabama Construction News was recently named an Azbee Award of Excellence recipient for 2025. Alabama Construction News is a quarterly magazine published by ABC of Alabama and the only statewide construction trade publication in Alabama.
The Azbee Awards honor the best in business-to-business media, recognizing outstanding work by business, trade, association and professional publications across 68 categories. ACN is the only award winner from Alabama in 2025.
“Alabama Construction News has always been the go-to source for construction professionals in our state,” said ABC Board Chairman Tim Harrison. “As an organization, keeping members of our association and industry informed about the latest developments is one of our core functions. ACN receiving this award shows we are hitting the mark.”
The Azbees are one of the most competitive awards programs for B2B media. The awards highlight editorial, online and design excellence within print media, email newsletters and digital publishing.
ABC President Jay Reed said, “In any industry, reliable and timely information allows businesses to make informed decisions. Serving as the editor of ACN is a responsibility I cherish and prioritize, and the fact that we are the only publication in Alabama to win this award speaks volumes about the work being done by our team.”
“Alabama Construction News has a readership of more than 20,000 throughout Alabama and the Southeast. ACN covers a wide range of issues, both on the local and national level, that are important to not only our members but also the industry in general. ACN publishes relevant articles on workforce development, government affairs, technology, safety, legal and best practices,” the organization shared.
