Red Level Strategies expands external, government, and public affairs practice

Jeff Rabren, president and CEO of Red Level Strategies, announced the expansion of the firm’s practice, adding Rob Green as director of external and public affairs.

Green, a Jasper native and former director of communications and external affairs under Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter, R-Rainsville, and policy analyst under Speaker Mac McCutcheon, R-Monrovia, will join the team at Red Level Strategies as director of external and public affairs, effective Feb. 1, 2025.

Green’s experience extends to the campaign cycle, where he worked with the House GOP Caucus campaign team to maintain the body’s 77-member Republican supermajority during the 2018 and 2022 midterms.

Green most recently served as the director of legislative and external affairs for the Alabama Department of Public Health, overseeing the department’s state and federal legislative and budgetary objectives.

With Green’s addition, Red Level Strategies will offer a full range of strategic public affairs services, in addition to state and federal advocacy and economic development consulting.

Founded in 2021 by Jeff Rabren, Red Level Strategies represents some of the country’s largest corporations, as well as companies and nonprofits based in Alabama, and includes industries such as energy, education, healthcare, venture capital, sports, entertainment, and economic development.
