The City of Montgomery 311 Department is excited to announce the launch of Ask MGM, a new virtual assistant designed to enhance communication between citizens and the city. Ask MGM offers immediate answers to questions, helps report service requests, sends messages to city staff, and allows sign-ups for text alerts on important topics.

Mayor Steven L. Reed expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Ask MGM represents our commitment to leveraging technology to improve accessibility and responsiveness for our residents. It’s a significant step towards a more connected Montgomery.”

Citizens can now receive city news and updates via text message by texting “Hello” to (844) 748-4867 or visiting www.montgomeryal.gov.
