This week, Feb. 20-22, 67 parole and 30 pardon hearings were scheduled for the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles to consider.

Last week 71 parole and 29 pardon hearings were scheduled to occur between Feb. 13-15. So far only the hearing minutes for Feb. 13 have been uploaded and for that day there were 23 parole and 10 pardon hearings held.

Of the 23 parole hearings, seven individuals were granted parole with the remaining 16 denied. Then, for the pardon hearings, seven were approved for pardons with three denied.

The results for the Feb. 8 hearings were also uploaded finally. On that day, 20 parole hearings were held with two being granted and 18 being denied. As for the pardon hearings, 10 were held with eight pardons granted and two denied.

As of these cumulative hearing minutes, there have been 21 paroles granted this month already surpassing the total of 16 for February of 2023.
