Manufacture Alabama announced its endorsement of Judge Chad Hanson to the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, Place 2.

“We are proud to endorse Judge Hanson for his reelection on the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals,” said Jon Barganier, president and CEO of Manufacture Alabama. “The Court of Civil Appeals is a critical part of our state’s appellate system which oversees litigation directly affecting the manufacturing industry.  We are fortunate to have a very capable court and Judge Hanson plays an important and positive role in our state.”

“I am humbled to have earned the endorsement of Manufacture Alabama,” said Judge Chad Hanson.  “I have worked hard to be recognized as a judge that will apply the law consistently, fairly and without regard for personal or partisan preference.  I will never legislate from the bench.  I am grateful for their support, and it is an honor of a lifetime to serve the people of Alabama on the Court of Civil Appeals.”

Judge Hanson previously worked in private practice for 18 years in Alabama prior to his election to the Court of Civil Appeals in 2018. His work consisted primarily of representing businesses and individuals in civil and bankruptcy litigation. Hanson earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alabama in 1997. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2000. Hanson is married to Joy, and they have two daughters. They reside in Trussville, Alabama.
