The Mobile County Republican Executive Committee has set their qualifying opening and closing dates for the March 5, 2024 primary elections at their Monday, October 2 meeting .
Mobile County candidates may qualify from Monday, October 16, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. CDT to Friday, November 10, 2023 with the closing time at 5 p.m CST. Qualifying will take place online at www.mobilegop.org Candidates who apply will be posted online for the public to see their respective races. Statewide and judicial candidates will apply with the Alabama Republican Party at www.algop.org The ALGOP qualifying dates are the same as above for GOP state and judicial offices.
The Committee also passed a resolution that stated: “…the Mobile County Republican Executive Committee is committed to taking all necessary steps, including the foregoing, to protect children and teens from materials that contain content that may be found obscene and/or contain explicit sexual content and found to be detrimental to children…”
