New graphic images APR received depict the injuries of an incarcerated individual after being beaten by correctional officers while being handcuffed as one photo clearly depicts lacerations.
The individual in the pictures is Andrew Clark and, according to a source, Clark was beaten Tuesday by correctional officers at Limestone Correctional Facility. The source also told APR that after the assault Clark began urinating blood and was taken to the infirmary for a body chart and was given an IV. However, the medical staff did not check Clark for any head trauma as correctional officers also struck him on the head with a baton.
APR spoke to a source who is a nurse and they indicated they had also seen Clark’s arm which they believe is likely broken or fractures as it is swollen and Clark can’t move it. However, the infirmary refuses to conduct an x-ray or head scan on Clark.
The nurse said that the reason the infirmary refuses to do so is potentially because they know Clark has a traumatic brain injury and broken arm and a doctor at a hospital would conduce the injuries are the result of an assault.
A TikTok video released in August depicted an incarcerated individual at Limestone, Clark’s location, saying he was beaten by correctional officers and left with a fractured arm and visible contusion on his head.
The injuries in the video align with the injuries Clark suffered that APR was told.
Recently APR reported on the death of Anthony Kendrick at Limestone and his families ongoing problems obtaining an autopsy of their loved one.
Kendrick’s body was covered in bruises when the family received his body and they suspect foul play is involved because of the abrupt passing and mystery shrouding the death of Kendrick.
