Manufacture Alabama’s Board of Directors on Wednesday endorsed eight incumbent justices and judges seeking re-election.

Manufacture Alabama’s Board of Directors on Wednesday endorsed eight incumbent justices and judges seeking re-election in the 2024 appellate court races.

The endorsements include:

  • Supreme Court Justice Tommy Bryan (R)
  • Supreme Court Justice Will Sellers (R)
  • Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell (R)
  • Court of Civil Appeals Judge Terry Moore (R)
  • Court of Civil Appeals Judge Christy Edwards (R)
  • Court of Civil Appeals Judge Chad Hanson (R)
  • Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Bill Cole (R)
  • Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Richard Minor (R)

“Over half of Alabama’s appellate judicial seats are up for election next year,” said George Clark, President of Manufacture Alabama. “Manufacture Alabama and our member companies who represent such a vital part of our state’s economy, are proud to support these incumbents who have demonstrated their respect for upholding the law and their tireless efforts to serve the voters they represent. Over this campaign cycle, there will be significant efforts to change the ideology of our courts. We stand by these candidates due to their proven track record of maintaining an environment where business and industry thrive.”

The primary elections will be held on March 5, 2024. These endorsements will carry through to the general election to be held on November 5, 2024.
