Alabama Governor Kay Ivey announced Wednesday the appointment of David Puckett, a former deputy district attorney in Limestone County, to serve as Limestone County District Judge.

Puckett, an attorney at Puckett Law in Athens, replaces District Judge Matt Huggins, who assumed his office in Limestone County only a month prior.
