Alabama Retail Association PAC endorses Cam Ward for Alabama Supreme Court

Alabama RetailPAC, the Alabama Retail Association’s state political action committee, announced their endorsements of candidates in judicial races today. That announcement included the endorsement of Cam Ward for Place 1 on the Alabama Supreme Court.

The Alabama Retail Association believes these candidates understand retailers and will give retailers’ interests a fair hearing,”said Alabama Retail Chairman Jacob Shevin. The Retail Association closely evaluates each candidate’s record and discusses the ramifications of each race before granting its endorsement. “We are confident these candidates are the best choices for these positions,” said Alabama Retail President Rick Brown.

“It is truly an honor to be endorsed by the Alabama Retail Association PAC which represents more than 4,300 hardworking Alabama business owners in the retail sector,” Ward said. “This campaign is about getting out and meeting with and listening to real Alabamians. I believe this endorsement is a reflection of that.”

Ward, who currently serves as the Chairman of the State Senate Judiciary Committee, announced last month that he would seek the Republican nomination for Place 1 on the Alabama Supreme Court. This is his first run for statewide office.
