GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Michael McAllister was found dead in his Troy, Alabama, home according to multiple reports from media around the state.
According to AL.com, the candidate was found by authorities after many said he had not been seen or heard for multiple days. The news site also reported that local law enforcement does not expect foul play in his death and cited that McAllister had multiple health problems.
McAllister, a mysterious candidate to some, was running for the GOP nomination of governor but declined to participate in debates set up for this week. He was 69 years old.
