Citizens for Trump endorses Brinson

Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Citizens for Trump endorsed Dr. Randy Brinson for US Senate.

Dr. Brinson accepted the endorsement at a rally which featured Colonel Mike McCalister (USA, Ret.) as guest speaker.

Col. McCalister is a University Professor, former candidate for the US Senate from Florida, and a National Spokesman for Citizens For Trump. Col. McCalister said, “Dr. Randy Brinson is Alabama’s clear Pro-Trump choice for the US Senate.  Randy was an early staunch supporter of Donald Trump for President.  Dr. Brinson is fully committed to supporting President Trump’s “AMERICA FIRST” Agenda, and we are confident that he will do the same as the next US Senator from Alabama.”

Citizens for Trump Executive Director, Tim Selaty, said in a statement, “From all of us here at Citizens For Trump, we’re excited and honored to announce our official endorsement of Dr. Randy Brinson’s Candidacy to become US Senator from Alabama and are committed to Supporting His Campaign.”

Dr. Brinson said in a statement, “I’m honored to accept the endorsement of Citizens for Trump, and meet with so many people who share my support for our President and his agenda.”

Brinson added, “President Trump is surrounded by the Swamp Critters of the Washington Establishment, the unelected bureaucrats and career politicians who are fighting him at every turn.  I’m not a career politician, and I will not be a Swamp Critter!  I want to go to Washington to fight the Swamp Critters and help our President drain that swamp!”

Brinson continued, “Luther Strange was a lobbyist for 8 years, and now he’s the hand-picked candidate of the Washington Establishment.  Mo Brooks won his first election in 1982 — 35 years ago — and was a proud “Never Trumper”.  Now, Mo and Luther are falling all over themselves, trying to convince us that they’re fully behind President Trump, but it’s not working.  The people of Alabama know they’re both just Swamp Critters.”

Brinson concluded, “I’m tired of our values and our faith being mocked by the liberal elites and their allies in the Establishment.  I’m tired of career politicians who say they’re conservative, but act like liberals once they’re elected.”

Brinson is a Montgomery area doctor and businessman as well as an Air Force veteran and the former Presidnet of the Alabama Christian Coalition.

Nine Republicans are running for the U.S. Senate.  They include: James Paul Beretta, Joseph F. Breault, Randy Brinson, Mo Brooks, Mary Maxwell, Roy Moore, Bryan Peeples, Trip Pittman, and Luther Strange.

Seven Democratic candidates are running in the U.S. Senate Special Primary Election. Qualified candidates are Will Boyd, Vann Caldwell, Jason Fisher, Michael Hansen, Doug Jones, Robert Kennedy, Jr., and Charles Nana.

Dom Gentile (R) and Brian McGee (D) both dropped out of the race on Monday.

The Special Major Party Primaries are on August 15, 2017.  The Major Party Runoffs will be on September 28, 2017.  The Special General Election will be on December 12, 2017.
