Dalton Dismukes Running for Chairman

On Tuesday, January 20, Dalton Dismukes announced that he was seeking the office of Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Alabama (CRFA).

Dalton Dismukes is presently the State Political Director and Central Vice Chairman for the College Republican Federation of Alabama. Dismukes has announced that he is a candidate for the position of State Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Alabama.

Beth Slagle will be running for Deputy State Chairman. Dismukes and Slagle said in a joint written statement that they feel that they have the potential and support to move the CRFA in a direction of growth, fundamental success and achievement.

Beth Slagle said in a statement on Facebook, “I’m so excited to finally announce that I will be running for Deputy Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Alabama alongside Dalton L Dismukes, running for Chairman.”

Dalton Dismukes, 20, is a Junior at the University of Alabama studying Political Science with a minor in International Studies. Dismukes is a 2012 graduate of Smiths Station High School. Dalton prior to his CRFA service as the elected Central Vice Chairman and the appointed Political Director, was CRFA State Treasurer in 2012. Dismukes is also the Chairman of the Tuscaloosa County Young Republicans.

Beth Slagle is a Finance Major at Auburn University where she is an active member of the Auburn University College Republican Chapter. Beth grew up in Harvest, Alabama and is a 2012 graduate of Sparkman High School. Slagle is the Vice-Chairman of the Auburn U College Republican Club. In 2014 Beth was asked to fill a vacancy in the treasurer’s position at Auburn in the College Republicans.

The elections for the College Republican Federation of Alabama will be held in Auburn, AL at Auburn University on March 7, 2015.
