Montgomery, Ala. – Mowery Consulting Group has been named a finalist for a prestigious Reed Award for Excellence in Campaign Consulting. Their spot “Foundations,” made on behalf of the victorious Chambliss for Senate Campaign is in the final three for “Best Web Video for a State Legislative Candidate.”
“Competing against the thousands of ads made for State legislative campaigns across the country, Democrat and Republican, to be in the final three for this award is truly an honor,” said David Mowery, Chairman of Mowery Consulting Group. “I’m proud of all of our work, and happy to be in the finalists for this one.”
Mowery is also scheduled to speak to the opening panel of the Reed Awards Conference opening session: A RISK-TAKER’S GUIDE TO CAMPAIGNS: KNOWING WHEN TO ROLL THE DICE. Every candidate, manager, and strategist will face pivotal moments on the campaign trail. But how do you know when to play it safe and when to gamble? Mowery Consulting Group was nominated for a total of 10 Reed Awards, including Most Original Television Advertisement, Best Radio Ad for a State Legislative Candidate, Best Television Ad for an Independent Expenditure Campaign and Best Television Advertisement for a Democratic Legislative Campaign and Best Television Advertisement for a Republican Legislative Campaign.
“We just try to do the best work we possibly can for our clients,” Mowery said. “If you just do that, the accolades and awards may come, but you’ll be know you did the best you can either way.”
The Reed Awards, named after Campaigns & Elections founder Stanley Foster Reed, embody excellence in political campaigning, campaign management, political consulting and political design.
Chosen from the largest and smallest organizations in the industry, the winners will represent the latest techniques and talent in the business. First place winners will receive a statue and recognition in Campaigns & Elections in print and online.
