Small Business Alabama Endorses Barbee

Staff Report

MONTGOMERY—Small Business Alabama and their 8,000+ members have chosen to endorse Jonathan Barbee in the race for Public Service Commissioner.

“Businesses have had enough of liberal regulations from Washington. I know that Jonathan Barbee will stand up for small business. I am honored to be a part of his endorsement because I know the kind of person Barbee is. He will do what he says. He is honest and trustworthy. He will stand up to Obama’s liberal EPA Agenda.” says Robert Wells, member and President of WeatherGuard Metal Roofing.

Small Business Alabama has members all over the state and is one of the only Alabama based organizations representing small businesses. According to the organization, their membership is over 8,000 businesses and growing.

“Know that once I’m elected, I will work to uphold our conservative values. I will be fair and reasonable and I will not be a sock puppet for the special interests. I will work every day to help make Alabama a better place to live, work, own a business and raise a family because that’s what we should expect from our public officials,” says PSC candidate Jonathan Barbee.

The Barbee campaign has been receiving a lot of attention in the last few weeks. There have been several straw polls conducted through out the state and Barbee has won two out of three and came in a close second on the third. The online straw poll, www.ALStrawPoll.com, also has Barbee in the lead.

Barbee recently sent a letter to President Obama on May 1st, putting the President on notice that he would “fight his policies every day that I’m in office.” A copy of the letter can be seen on Barbee’s website. After releasing the letter, Barbee launched a television ad with a clip of President Obama issuing the order to the EPA to enforce stricter coal emissions policies. The commercial has gone viral across the internet boasting more than 44,000 views and dozens of shares. The commercial can be seen at BarbeePSC.com
