Alabama REALTORS® Endorse Thompson for Auditor

Staff Report

MONTGOMERY—The Alabama Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee has endorsed Adam Thompson for State Auditor.

“We are proud to endorse Adam in his campaign to be our next state Auditor,” AAR President Pam Segars-Morris said. “We know he will be a tireless advocate for private property rights and homeownership, and that he will protect taxpayer money in his position as our State Auditor.”

The Alabama Association of REALTORS® (AAR) is the largest statewide organization of real estate professionals with more than 11,000 members from 29 local boards and 1,200 real estate companies. United by adherence to a Code of Ethics, its members work as real estate professionals in the sale, lease, appraisal and development of residential, commercial, rural, and resort properties throughout Alabama.

“I am honored to have the support of one of the strongest voices for real estate professionals and individual property rights in Alabama,” said Thompson. “Support continues to build for my candidacy as we enter the homestretch leading to the primary.”

The Association serves as the voice of the real estate industry in Alabama, as the official advocate of Alabama’s multifaceted real estate industry before state, local and federal government. Services provided to members include public policy advocacy, professional and licensed-related education, several annual meetings and conferences, regular publications including Alabama REALTOR®, and several other programs and benefits. The Association also administers the Alabama REALTORS® Political Action Committee (ARPAC), the official political action committee representing the interests of the Alabama real estate industry.

The Republican Primary will be held on June 3.
