The Rainy Day Patriots to Hold Open Candidates Forum on Thursday

The Rainy Day Patriots have announced that they will be holding an open candidates forum on Thursday, February 20th at Hoover Tactical Firearms.

The forum will be held from 6:00 pm to- 8:15 at: 1561 Montgomery Highway in Hoover, Alabama.

The Rainy Day Patriots meetings on February 20th, March 20th, April 17th and May 15th will all be candidate forums. All candidates will allowed to be speak and take questions. Time will vary depending on the candidates that show up each month.

The Rainy Day Patriots are asking that you please share this information with your favorite candidate, as well as with your family and friends. This will be an opportunity to hear from the candidates before the Alabama primary election in June.

All are invited.

The Rainy Day Patriots is one of many Tea Party type groups in Alabama.  Their organization has opposed the controversial Common Core Standards and are advocates for smaller more transparent government and firearms freedoms.

The Rainy Day Patriots are involved in activities across the state but are most active in Shelby and Jefferson Counties.  They also have affiliate groups in Walker and Calhoun Counties and are represented every week of the legislative session by their affiliate group: the Alabama Legislative Watchdogs.

Hoover Tactical Firearms is located in the former Food World building on Highway 31. The new Hoover Tactical Firearms facility sells tactical weapons, handguns, and combat knives and accessories.  It also has a deli, a target range, firearms safety and proficiency classes, and meeting rooms for birthday parties and other events.

Hoover Tactical Firearms will be the new home of Rainy Day Patriots meetings.
