VictoryLand to Reopen Today

MONTGOMERY—According to Milton McGregor’s attorney VictoryLand will reopen today at 2:00PM.

In a press release this morning Tuskegee Mayor, Johnny For said, “I am urging all citizens of Macon County to come out to VictoryLand today at 2:00 p.m. to stand up for the opening of this legitimate business so unjustly closed in violation of our voting and economic rights.  Now is the time to come out and stand in defiance of State Attorney General Luther Strange, and all who would deny us our God given rights, that so many of our forefathers, Black and White, died for.  Their struggle goes on in us. We will stand in defiance, even to the point of going to jail.”
