Ford to file another ethics complaint against Strange

MONTGOMERY— Tuskegee Major Johnny Ford will meet with the press to announce another ethics complaint against Attorney General Luther Strange.

“I will meet the Press in front of the US Federal Court Building at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17th to discuss the additional complaint that I have filed with the State Ethics Commission…, against State Attorney General Luther Strange,” said Ford in a press release.

Ford is excepted to lodge an ethics complaint arising from a contract Strange had with with embattled Alabama State University.

Ford said he will file the same complaint with the U.S. District Attorney, for the Middle District.

“The reason for also filing the complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, is that Luther Strange is the top law enforcement officer in the State…It is not reasonable to expect that Mr. Strange will investigate himself,” said Ford.

Alabama Political Reporter will update the story as it unfolds.
