CULLMAN — A major road expansion is on the horizon for Cullman County after Gov. Robert Bentley signed off on funding to replace two bridges on Alabama Highway 157.
ALDOT engineer Ed Austin estimates 350 bridges in the state would have to be posted for weight restrictions if the bill passes.
The letter urges the Trump administration to disclose a full list of these frozen initiatives.
Sewell was the only member of Alabama’s congressional delegation to vote in favor of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
It won’t guarantee wins, but the West Alabama Highway will at least keep us in the game.
