CULLMAN — A major road expansion is on the horizon for Cullman County after Gov. Robert Bentley signed off on funding to replace two bridges on Alabama Highway 157.
Sewell was the only member of Alabama’s congressional delegation to vote in favor of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
It won’t guarantee wins, but the West Alabama Highway will at least keep us in the game.
These grants address a range of community needs, from upgrading water and sewer systems to building fire stations.
At a press conference at City Hall, Rep. Sewell was joined by Selma Mayor James Perkins and local elected officials.
