Monday, Roy Moore’s campaign received yet more endorsements. The conservative Senate candidate and former Alabama Chief Justice was endorsed by the legislative affiliate of the Family Research Council, FRC Action, U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fl., and the Alabama Patriots.

“These are challenging times and our nation is looking for bold leadership,” Tony Perkins, president of FRC Action, said. “Over the years Judge Moore has proven he is willing to stand up for our Constitution and fight for the rights of the people. From working with him and evaluating his record as a public servant, FRC Action PAC believes he will provide needed leadership on important issues in the U.S. Senate.”

“Judge Roy Moore has been a fearless champion of conservative values and a great friend to the Family Research Council,” Jerry Boykin, executive vice president of FRC Action, said. “It is a true privilege to endorse him for the U.S. Senate. I have no doubt that Judge Moore will follow his conscience and not be swayed by political correctness or political expediency.”.

“I am honored to have the support of FRC Action,” Moore said. “FRC Action and the Family Research Council have been leaders in the fight for restoring values to our nation for years. Through their annual Value Voters Summit, countless thousands of Christians have become engaged in the political process. Together, we will work to make America good again, and great again.”

FRC Action is the legislative affiliate of Family Research Council. Their state goal is to educate and influence elected officials on Capitol Hill and in the states, activate grassroots networks and mobilize Values Voters on behalf of faith, family and freedom. FRC Action is a non-profit social advocacy group and was founded in 1992.

“Judge Roy Moore is a proven conservative leader,” Yoho said in a statement. “He refused to bow to political pressure in Montgomery, and he will refuse to bow to political pressure in Washington. We need men like Judge Moore in the Senate to advance the conservative policies America sent us here to enact. Fully repealing Obamacare, protecting our borders and overhauling our tax system. It’s time to send a message to the failed leadership in Washington that America wants results, not empty promises. I am proud to endorse Judge Moore and look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with him to fight for America, and against the failed status quo of Washington.”

“I thank Congressman Yoho for his support,” Moore said. “Congressman Yoho has repeatedly shown he is willing to stand for principle. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the Freedom Caucus to bring real conservative change to Washington.”

Yoho represents Florida’s 3rd Congressional district. He was elected to the U.S. House in November 2012, and is serving his third term. In the 115th Congress, Ted became the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific. His approach to government is guided by constitutional principles, limited government, fiscal conservatism, personal responsibility and free enterprise.

The Alabama Patriots announced that on Aug. 23, 2017, members of the Alabama Patriots met with Moore in Montgomery to announce their decision to support him to be the next United States senator from Alabama. The endorsement took place immediately after the meeting, but the official announcement to media outlets has been reserved until Monday.

“In these trying times we believe GOD has provided men of honor and integrity to stand in the gap for our beloved Alabama and our Christian nation,” the group said in a statement. “Judge Roy Moore is the man to replace our friend and fellow Patriot Jeff Sessions as the next United States Senator from Alabama.”

“As critical to our nation as the choice of Neil Gorsuch was to replace Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court, we the Alabama Patriots feel it is just as critical to support & elect Judge Roy Moore to the U.S. Senate,” Alabama Patriots said. “His record needs no defending when it comes to the foundational building blocks of our Republic in matters of our faith, family & freedom.
Judge Roy Moore is the only candidate in the race with a proven record of conservative leadership who is renowned for standing up against special interests and the Washington insiders and special interest groups that constitute Washington’s ‘Swamp. We have presented a copy of the United States Constitution to Judge Roy Moore and we are very confident he will defend it. We will work tirelessly for Judge Roy Moore. Our children and grandchildren are counting on us. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

“On September 26, 2017, Christian, conservative, constitutional men and women should do something……Vote for Judge Roy Moore to be the next United States Senator from the Great State of Alabama,” the Alabama Patriots said.

The group promotes itself as Alabama’s oldest and largest Tea Party group.

A growing number of conservative-thought leaders and elected officials have endorsed Moore for Senate. The Washington establishment is solidly behind Strange, however.

The runoff will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The eventual winner will face Clinton-era U.S. Attorney Doug Jones in the special general election on Dec. 12, 2017.
